Building the Innovators of Tomorrow
We officially launched our upgraded STEM & Robotics Lab at the start of Term 2. The facility was designed to move learning beyond textbooks and into hands-on creation.
Our new STEM & Robotics Laboratory is now open, giving learners from Grade 6 to A-Level access to 3D printing, coding, and engineering tools.
What’s Inside the Lab
- Maker Space: 3D printers, laser cutter, and woodworking benches
- Electronics Station: Arduino, Raspberry Pi, sensors, and circuit kits
- Coding Lab: 20 workstations with Python, Scratch, and CAD software
- Project Wall: Space for prototype display and peer review
Curriculum Integration
All Grade 6–7 learners now have weekly STEM lessons. Secondary students can join Robotics Club, Science Club, or take STEM as an A-Level project subject.
STEM Coordinator Mr. T. Moyo noted: “Students are already building automated irrigation models for Agriculture and designing eco-friendly packaging for Business Studies.”
Community Involvement
We will host our first *STEM Open Day on 15 May, 10:00–13:00*. Parents, alumni, and feeder primary schools are invited to see student projects and meet industry partners.
Our goal: every learner leaves school with confidence in problem-solving, teamwork, and technology.
